If you don't know yet, Melissa at In the Sparrow's Nest has
started a wonderful nature series exploring winter and spring. I am very behind but we finally completed Week #2! Between colds and toddlers and what not, it took us a while. Melissa has done such a wonderful job. If we do nothing else but follow her outline of topics, using library books, I think we will have learned a lot.
So using her outline for Week #2, we read a lot of books from the library and we made a chart on our board. As we read about an animal, we put a picture of it in the appropriate column.

You are so welcome! You've done a great job on your studies of winter animals and how they cope. I'm so glad you are being able to use these studies.
As far as the graphic for Nuts About Nature goes...looks like it's showing up fine in your post and don't worry about it linking directly to me, I've had trouble with the link. You've got my site linked in your text portion and that's just fine.
Thanks for posting about your studies, it's so wonderful to see what you are doing with it. And take your time, that's the wonderful thing about nature study, it's at your own pace.
